Insurance and Retirement Benefits are often an overlooked part of a teacher's compensation package. These benefits are often targeted by legislators looking to reduce education costs, and educators must always be on guard for reductions to their benefits.
This session will help educators identify these benefits, briefly discuss recent attempts to change these benefits, and give educators tools to advocate for their own insurance and retirement.
